Policy Regarding Minors Being Tattooed/Pierced

All minors need a school, state, or government issued photo ID AND birth certificate along with their parent or legal guardian’s photo ID. Legal guardians must also provide guardianship papers.  For parents with different last names further proof, like a marriage certificate, may be required. Overall we need proof that the parent or guardian has the legal right to sign for the minor being tattooed or pierced.

Minors under the age of 15 may get earlobe piercings. At 15 years old minors may get any piercing in their ears as well as their nostrils and navel. At 16 minors may get oral, septum, and eyebrow piercings. All other piercings require the person to be at least 18 years old.

Minors must be at least 16 years old to get tattooed. Depending on the design and placement of the tattoo, the artist reserves the right to not tattoo a minor. Our artists also reserve the right to only tattoo beginning at 18 years old.
