Day 1

  • Using your CLEAN hands blot the area throughout the 1st day and continue to blot every 5 minutes with a clean dry tissue until “oozing” stops.

  • Make sure to sleep on a clean pillow case for the next two weeks, changing when needed.

Days 2-7

  • Your brows will appear darker.

  • The morning after your treatment, gently wash the area with fragrance free soap and water using a circular motion.

  • Apply a very tiny amount of the healing cream given to you by the artist. The application should be thin, like applying lip balm.

  • DO NOT MASSAGE OR RUB. AVOID SCRUBBING. ABSOLUTELY NO PICKING!

  • Do not introduce new products to that area that have not been approved by your artist.

  • Use the cream twice per day if you have normal/dry skin.

  • NO SUN for 30 days after your procedure. (Wearing a hat and/or sunglasses WILL NOT be sufficient).

  • Avoid alcohol consumption directly after your procedure.

  • Your brows will be dark and bold at first, then will become lighter once healed (roughly 30% lighter). The color will take 3-4 weeks to fully adjust.

  • Once healed, sweating regularly and using certain skin products can cause hair strokes to turn into powder brows.

  • Using sunblock is the best investment to help the longevity of your tattoo.

  • Avoid laser, waxing, chemical treatments, or any facial procedures until your brows are fully healed.

  • Normal swelling will last 2-4 days. This will cause the tattoo to look larger than it is. Once the swelling has subsided it will look smaller.

  • Touch ups are an important part of the procedure. Perfection is not to be expected after the initial procedure.

  • Avoid irritation from spicy, colored, or salty foods.

  • Use a straw when drinking as your lips are healing.

  • If taking anti-viral medications beforehand, please continue as prescribed.

Lip Blush Healing Process

Day 1:

  • Your lip color will appear brighter than it will lighten as it heals.

  • Your lips will feel swollen and tender

Day 2:

  • Your color will begin to darken temporarily throughout the day as the pigment oxidizes.

Day 3-4:

  • Your lips will feel dry and start to flake. Allow it to shed naturally. DO NOT PICK.

Day 5-7:

  • As your lips flake, your lips will appear very light and “frosty”. This is only temporary. You are still healing,

Day 7-10:

  • Peeling will have subsided. Your new natural lip color will reappear until it fully blooms.

  • Your lips will be very dry. Continue to apply conditioner to lips.

After 4-8 Weeks:

  • Lips will fully heal during this time.

  • It is recommended you schedule your touch up at this time.

IMPORTANT!

  • Normal swelling will last 2-4 days. This will cause the tattoo to look larger than it is, once the swelling has subsided it will look smaller.

  • Touch ups are an important part of the procedure. Perfection is not to be expected after the initial procedure.
