12 oz. Studios is proud to welcome permanent cosmetics to our Deptford location, performed by our current Deptford studio manager, Michaelann Reid! Michaelann or Mickie, is a Gold AAM Member (American Academy of Micropigmentation) under the guidance of Micropigmentation Educator and Platinum AAM artist Tara Rebel and the Shay Danielle Academy. Mickie currently offers powder brows, lip blushing, eyeliner, and freckles. She plans to offer more permanent cosmetic services in the near future (stay tuned!). The story behind the name Makeup By Mickie comes from Michaelann’s Italian grandmother who always called her Mickie. Her grandmother would always wear make up so she could look her absolute best.

Mickie first became interested in the tattoo industry during her middle school days and developed more as she got older, eventually becoming a loyal 12 oz. Studios, and a valued member of our family. When Mickie is not working on furthering her education she’s being a cool aunt, obsessing over her cats, and collecting all things Barbie.
